1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are available for purchases made on ReverseScope.com (the "Site"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions. By purchasing a trial, subscription, credit package, or one-time report, you agree to the terms below.
2. Pricing Summary
- 3-Day Trial: $3.99, includes 2 lookup credits. Converts automatically to the monthly subscription unless canceled before the trial period ends.
- Monthly Subscription: $29.99/month, billed automatically on a recurring monthly basis until canceled.
- Additional Credits: $20 for 20 credits.
- One-Time Purchases: Deep Person Report ($15), Full VIN History Report ($25), and Unlimited PDF Downloads ($10).
Pricing is always displayed on the billing page prior to purchase. Charges will appear as "reversescope.com" on your bank statement.
3. Trial Refunds
Refunds for the $3.99 trial fee are available only if requested within 3 days of purchase and no credits have been used. If you cancel within the trial period, no further charges will occur.
4. Subscription Refunds
Regular subscriptions are non-refundable, except in specific cases such as:
- Service unavailability exceeding 24 hours; or
- Billing errors (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after a confirmed cancellation).
Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the charge. Canceling your subscription stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund of charges already incurred; you retain access to the Services until the end of your current billing period.
5. VIN Lookups and One-Time Reports
VIN lookups are strictly non-refundable once generated. No exceptions will be made for incomplete or missing data within a VIN report. Other one-time purchases (the Deep Person Report, Full VIN History Report, and Unlimited PDF Downloads) are likewise non-refundable once the report or download has been generated, except in the case of a verified billing error.
6. Additional Credits
Additional lookup credit packages roll over into the next billing cycle until fully used. Unused credits are not redeemable for cash and are not refundable, except where required by applicable law or in the case of a verified billing error.
7. How to Request a Refund

A support representative will review your request within 1–2 business days and confirm the outcome by email. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through our Help Center cancellation hub. Cancellations can be scheduled to take effect starting from the next billing cycle, and no further charges will be applied. Cancellation is separate from a refund request — canceling prevents future charges, while refunds (where eligible) address charges that have already occurred.
9. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve the issue quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution and may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
10. Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date and apply to purchases made after the effective date.
